The successful candidate will be able to support all teachers with an approach that reflects a strong knowledge of instructional design, culturally responsive teaching, a data-informed mindset and a broad repertoire of instructional strategies. While not a content area expert, the coach will have the ability to understand and apply literacy skills across the content areas. This expectation is aligned with the Next Generation standards in ELA, social studies and science. A successful coach is a leader and master teacher. Their background and experiences will reflect a range of experiences that include participation and leadership at both a building and district level.Effective October 17, 2022 though June 30, 2023
