Title: AIS Reading TeacherDeadline: Open Until FilledStart Date: ASAPInitial Assignment: District Wide with Initial Location - Middle SchoolThis position is a Middle School position to provide AIS Reading instruction to students in grades 7 and 8 who meet qualifications set forth in our MTSS process. Our AIS Reading teachers work very closely with our 7th and 8th grade ELA teachers. Eligibility: Must be a New York State Certified as a Literacy Teacher (Grades 5-12) or Certified New York State Reading Teacher. Prospective applicants should have certification in and have demonstrated significant background experience in providing reading or literacy instruction to elementary students, to include successful classroom experience.
