Title: Academic Intervention Services (AIS) Teacher Deadline: 8/5/22Start Date: 8/30/22Initial Assignment: Evans Mills Primary SchoolThis is a newly-created position to fulfill the requirements and needs related to emergency relief funds whose purpose is to focus on the needs of students/staff based on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. This position will expire no later than June 30, 2024 unless extended by legislative action. There is no expectation that the position will extend beyond that date. The position accrues seniority and allows for tenure granted in the candidates certification area. Once employed, the candidate is eligible for transfers into permanently funded positions.Eligibility: The successful candidate should possess current New York State Teaching Certifications in Childhood Education (1-6) required AND Early Childhood Education (B-2). Significant preference will be given for dual certifications.
