The Indian Lake Central School District seeks qualified and dedicated candidates for a full-time 3rd Grade teaching position. Candidates must hold, or be eligible for NYS certification. Candidates are considered based on their knowledge to do the following: Valid New York State Teaching Certification (Childhood Education Grades 1–6 required) Strong knowledge of NYS Learning Standards, including ELA and Mathematics Ability to plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction Experience using data to inform instruction and support student growth Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues Commitment to fostering social-emotional learning and positive student behavior Willingness to participate in professional development and school initiatives Familiarity with instructional technology and digital learning tools preferred This tenure-track position includes benefits defined in the Indian Lake Central School Teachers’ contract.
