Hyde Park is looking for candidates with Special Education certification K-12, SWD English 5-9Co-Teaching and Special ClassJob Description:Provide special education services to students who require co-teach, consultant teacher, resource room, or special class services in the Jr.-Sr. High School.Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment throughout the school day.Design and implement students’ individualized education plans as well as support students’ success in accessing the general education curriculum.Support student’s individual academic, behavioral, and social-emotional well-being.Work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, related service providers, support staff, students and families to ensure students achieve success.Minimum Qualifications:Current NYS certification in special education requiredAbility to work with students/staff in varied social/cultural backgrounds.Experience working with students with disabilitiesAbility to demonstrate job expectationsAppointment subject to fingerprint clearance.
