There is a need for a Middle School Gymnastics Coach and a V arsity Girls Basketball Assistant Coach or the Winter 2026–2027 interscholastic athletic season. The season will commence on November 16, 2026. NYS Teacher or coaching certification required Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED/Concussion management required Ensure that all aspects of the program comply with the guidelines, rules and policies that have been established by the School District, League, Section, State and National Federation. Develop and communicate criteria for selection to appropriate teams. Train and instruct student athletes on the rules, techniques, and technical aspects of the assigned sport; plan daily practices in preparation of games and/practices; provide constructive feedback Work effectively with Varsity Coach, and community to develop and strengthen programs. Maintain discipline and work to increase morale Knowledge of assessment techniques and monitoring strategies to identify student/athlete’s efforts, performance, strengths, and weakness. Motivational techniques and strategies to improve individual and team performance. Ability to provide training and coaching to improve individual players and team performance. Ability to effectively organize, and supervise practices, scrimmages, and games.
