4th Grade Play Director (Stipend Position) Location(s): Big Flats Elementary School Gardner Road Elementary School Ridge Road Elementary School Position Summary The 4th Grade Play Director is responsible for planning, directing, and producing the school's fourth-grade theatrical production. The director will create a positive, inclusive experience that encourages student participation, creativity, teamwork, and confidence while ensuring a successful performance. Responsibilities Plan and conduct student auditions. Organize and lead after-school rehearsals. Direct all aspects of the production and final performances. Develop rehearsal schedules and production timelines. Coordinate costumes, props, and set design. Collaborate with school staff, families, and volunteers as needed. Promote a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all student participants. Qualifications Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred. Experience in theater, drama, music, or directing preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families. Ability to supervise students during after-school rehearsals and performances. Compensation Stipend position paid in accordance with the HTA bargaining agreement.
