We seek an outstanding educator with experience teaching Mandarin Chinese. SPECIFIC SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Strong knowledge of the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages;Ability to develop lesson plans that incorporate the three modes of communication;Ability to plan and execute lessons that engage children and bring the Chinese language and culture to life;Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators and parents;Highly organized and detailed oriented;Deep understanding of second language acquisition;Knowledge of the Chinese language and culture;Ability to infuse technology to impact language learning and engage students.
