ANTICIPATED VACANCY CUSTODIAN/DRIVER The Hoosic Valley Central School District is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented individual to join our Custodian and Transportation teams as a Custodian/Driver. This position is responsible for supporting the upkeep, safety, and appearance of District, while also providing safe and reliable transportation for students and staff. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid New York State driver's license with appropriate endorsements. Ability to obtain and maintain all required New York State school bus driver qualifications and certifications. Previous experience with grounds maintenance, landscaping, building maintenance, equipment operation, or related work preferred. Ability to safely operate grounds, maintenance, and transportation equipment. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, bending, standing, walking, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to interact professionally with students, staff, and members of the school community. SALARY & BENEFITS Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the Hoosic Valley Central School District Non-Instructional Agreement.
