Hoosic Valley CSD is accepting applications for a part time School Recess Monitor at the elementary school. School Recess Monitor will be responsible for supporting the health and safety needs of students during recess. Applicant must have the ability to get along well with children; ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; ability to exercise sound judgement in carrying out monitoring duties; familiarity with classroom routine; good powers of observation; tact; courtesy; and physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position. School Recess Monitor may be asked to perform other duties as assigned by the building principal. Previous experience working with children is preferred. This position is approximately 3 hours per day/10 months.
