Hannibal CSD is looking for two LAN Technicians to join our Instructional Computer Services Department! In addition to meeting all required Oswego County Civil Service requirements, interested applicants must possess a strong work ethic, effective communication skills (including the ability to explain technical information to a non-technical audience), the ability to collaborate with others as a member of a team, organization, and be personable and passionate about technology.Responsibilities:Furnish technical support to faculty, staff, and students via the district’s help desk system – includes managing tickets, answering and responding to phone calls, maintaining a presence throughout the district, documentation of task completion.Maintain the seamless operation of the technology infrastructure throughout all district buildingsProvide technical support for Windows desktop and laptop devices within an Active Directory environmentManage and support Chrome devices throughout the district and well as administration tasks within Google WorkspaceMaintain the functionality of the district’s wireless environmentSupport the use of classroom learning technology (i.e. SMART interactive panels)Provide basic support for copiers and printersAssist the district’s network administrator with the administration of user accountsDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with vendors to resolve issues and maintain systemsOther tasks and projects as assigned by the Director of TechnologySalary: Up to $60KTo Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit a letter of interest, resume, and completed application to Superintendent Staats at Hannibal Central School, 928 Cayuga St., Hannibal, NY 13074.
