2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR VACANCIES Internal Candidates Only OFFICE OF MENTAL HEALTH (OMH) POSITIONS: SUCCESS COACHES REPORTS TO: Building Principal QUALIFICATIONS: Valid New York State School Psychologist and/or Social Work certification GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide mentoring and coaching for students and parents identified in need of Tier 2/3 support before or after school. Develop Student Success Plans to target areas of need; SEL, attendance and level of engagement (up to 20 scholars). Monitor the effectiveness of the Student Success Plan (and modify as needed). Use the problem-solving model of tiered level of intervention and analysis of data to drive decisions at the individual level. Participate in MTSS Success Meetings (use MTSS/EWI protocols). Maintain student and parent contact and service logs. LOCATION: Joseph A. McNeil, Jackson School, David Paterson, Barack Obama, Rhodes Academy, ABGS Middle School and Hempstead High School HOURS: Elementary – 3:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. Secondary – 7:30 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. (Not to exceed 20 hours per month.
