2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR VACANCIES INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY POSITIONS: Instructional Technology Staff Developer (1) Elementary Schools (1) Secondary Schools QUALIFICATIONS: Valid NY State Teacher Certification JOB DUTIES: The Instructional Technology Staff Developer supports the district’s technology integration efforts by designing and delivering professional learning for instructional staff and reports to the Director of Instructional Technology. This role collaborates with school leaders and Instructional Technology Coaches to provide workshops, turnkey training, and ongoing support in the use of digital tools, instructional platforms, and data systems. Responsibilities include developing training materials and tutorials, facilitating both in- person and virtual professional development, analyzing feedback and usage data to refine support and assisting with the implementation of district technology initiatives. The Staff Developer is also responsible for managing and supporting the district’s Student Information System (SIS), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Learning Management System (LMS) platforms, as well as coordinating with the Director of Mathematics and Assessments for Computer Based Testing (CBT) for Grades 3–8, NYS Regents examination scoring through ASOFT, and the WIDA assessment platform for ELLs. The role requires staying current with emerging technologies and promoting effective instructional practices that enhance teaching and learning. SCHEDULE: 2026-2027 School Year COMPENSATION: Service Assignment I Staff Developers will be required to submit monthly logs to reflect 15-20 hours worked monthly that identify activities performed beyond the regular workday.
