2024 - 2025 SCHOOL YEAR VACANCIES POSITION: (S.H.A.P.E) Mental Health Committee LOCATION: DistrictwideREQUIREMENTS: A valid NYS certification as a Social Worker, Psychologist, or School Counselor DESCRIPTION: - Provide mentoring and coaching for students in the development and accomplishment of Student Success Plans related to the implementation of the SHAPE program.- Develop and monitor the effectiveness of the Student Success Plan (and modify as needed) related to the SHAPE program's implementation.- Use the problem-solving model of tiered-level interventions and analysis of student performance data to drive intervention decisions at the individual level related to the implementation of the SHAPE program. The District SHAPE (School Health Assessment and Performance Evaluation) committee will collect information and provide a snapshot of the multi-tiered services and supports, staffing, finance and data systems of the school and district comprehensive school mental health systems. The implementation of SHAPE will help map the districts mental health services and determine system quality using national performance standards. Lead by District leaders, a multidisciplinary District team will be formed with 1 representative from each school team who will be involved in delivering and implementing the School Mental Health Profiles and continuously update it throughout the school year. SHAPE collects information and provides a snapshot of the multi-tiered services and supports, staffing, financing, and data systems in the district mental health system. COMPENSATION: Contractual Hourly Rate - not to exceed 20 hours fromNovember 14th, 2024 - June 27th, 2025 - 3:20pm – 5:20pm CLOSING DATE: October 31, 2024
