2024 - 2025 SCHOOL YEAR VACANCIES Internal Candidates OnlyPOSITIONS: IB INSTRUCTIONAL COACHES LOCATIONS: Rhodes Academy Prospect Joseph McNeil Barack Obama David Paterson Jackson SchoolJOB GOALS: To provide instructional coaching in connection with the school adopting the IB PYP Framework, as it relates to best pedagogical practices and building a collaborative learning community that uses the reflective practice to ensure outstanding educational outcomes for all learners. The IB Coach will serve as a liaison between the IB PYP Coordinator and an instructional leader, forging forward in the goal to attain IBO authorization. QUALIFICATION: Valid New York State Teacher Certification COMPENSATION: Service Assignment I (20 hours per month) (Monthly logs are required to identify activities conducted beyond the regular workday) All coaches are expected to facilitate professional development during the day and after school. This includes Teacher’s Choice Professional Development on Wednesdays. All coaches must be at work to receive the full stipend. Compensation will be prorated based on the attendance of the coach.
