2024 - 2025 SCHOOL YEAR VACANCYPOSITION: COLOR GUARD DIRECTOR – GRADES 9-12 LOCATION: Hempstead High School REQUIREMENTS: Lead and organize all Color Guard Rehearsals alongside the Marching Band. Rehearsal hours needs to exceed 20 hours during the school year.Organize, recruit, and prepare the color guard during the summer months for Fall events and competitions.Attend all required training and required festival meetings. Summer Marching Band Camp – at least 40 hours during August.Lead and direct Color guard alongside the marching band for all High School Football Games, at least 1 Home Basketball Game, Homecoming Parade and Half Time, Memorial Day Parade and at least two other community parades.Assist Marching Band when needed.STARTING DATE: August 28, 2024COMPENSATION: $1800.00CLOSING DATE: June 27, 2024
