2022 - 2023 SCHOOL YEAR VACANCIES POSITIONS: STUDENT MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORTS GRANT PROJECT LIAISON REQUIREMENTS:- Certifications: Valid New York State Teaching and/or Teaching Assistant and/or Social Worker- Experience in education, social services and at-risk populations- Applicants should have experience working in mental health support services for children and families or Life Coaching/Trauma Informed Certified Coaching experience- Strong organizational, communication, public relations and interpersonal skills- Working knowledge of delivering grant program requirements- Knowledge of state department of education rules, regulations and procedures- Ability to manage multisite, out-of-school time operations HOURS: Must be available to work a full-time schedule Monday-Friday, including after-school program hours, occasional Saturdays and other times as requested or required to oversee the program GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:The liaison will work with Success Coaches to connect services to students and families through our MTSS Early Warning Indicator protocolCreate and disseminate district mental health support resources, publications and newslettersDeliver objectives by implementing the Mental Health Supports GrantFacilitate training staff in Mental Health Literacy and SHAPE protocol; integrate Mental Health supports throughout each school by establishing on-site service access and implementing Telehealth/teletherapy access LOCATION: District-wide COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experienceINTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLYCLOSING DATE: September 27, 2022
