Position SummaryThe Director of Personnel, Data and Assessments will manage all areas of personnel and instructional data for the district. Responsible for the collection, distribution and interpretation of all student data and all personnel data. This individual will be responsible for data analysis which will be utilized to improve instruction. Responsible for administering personnel activities for a school district covering professional and non-professional staff and the procedures and records necessary to administer the New York State Civil Service Law and New York State Education Law Role Summary:Present, as requested, assessment data to the Superintendent, administration and staff.Provide status reports regarding the district’s compliance to the Superintendent.Secure the certification of the data by the Superintendent prior to the data transmission by the Regional Information Center.Support the business office and payroll office in their operations as needed, e.g. audits, budgetCreate a district data team that will include representation from all areas submitting state- mandated data. Coordinate and facilitate district data team meetings.Evaluation of teachers.Other duties as instructed by the Superintendent.Review Level 0, Level 1 and Level 1 container reports and resolve errors.Examine NYSTART (Level 2) reports for inconsistencies and resolve.Monitor the NYSSIS for any near matches and confirm. Provide data for all NYS reports including but not limited to: VADIR, SA 129, BEDS, APPR (Oversee the annual staff evaluation process for all personnel).Serve as the district contact person for all issues related to the data warehouse.Attend informational sessions provided for CIO’s by the RIC.Submit requests for data extracts that conform to the data warehouse file formats.Supervise District MTSS: Schedule and host MTSS meetings, manage student data dashboard and universal screening platform. Required Qualifications:Valid NYS certification required (SDL or SDA).Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in an educational leadership role.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Extensive knowledge of New York State Education, Civil Service and Employment and Labor Law and all areas of Human Resources and payroll.Proficient in relevant personnel databases and NYSED and Federal data reporting systems, Frontline, nVision, TEACH, OLAS, NYSED Business Portal, and others.12 Month Position, Fringe II Directors Employment Agreement, starting salary, based upon experience, a minimum for the 2025-2026 school year $180,763.
