Job responsibilities include:Directing all Human Resources operationsManaging the hiring process including recruitment, selection and assignment of employeesOverseeing Civil Service appointments Maintaining the electronic applicant tracking systemManaging staff development including the Staff Development Committee, Professional Development Program, New Techer Orientation, Probationary Teacher Workshops, New Teacher Mentor Program, Portfolio Review and coordinating training for bargaining units in the districtTracking professional certificationDeveloping and managing the teacher and administrator evaluation plansEvaluator trainingMaintaining the electronic professional evaluation systemState reporting including BEDS, APPRFMLA / ADA ComplianceManaging employee attendance district-wideHandling employee issues, complaints, disciplinary mattersManaging the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan and the Behavioral Threat Assessment TeamMaintaining Seniority Lists, and Preferred Eligibility ListsLiaison to the district bargaining unitsConducting contract negotiations with employee bargaining unitsCoordinating the annual school district calendar of eventsPreparing Personnel Reports for Board of Education meetingsWorking with the Board of Education Policy CommitteeStrong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential for this position At least three years experience in a comparable position is preferred.
