NETWORK ANALYST Responsibilities:Implement, monitor and optimize new and existing Local Area Network servers.Maintain and update user Active Directory and Group Policy objects.Install, configure and maintain network domain controllers SAN and fileservers;Exchange, SQL, ISA, IIS, NAV, Back-up Exec etc.Analyze and take corrective action to resolve network problems involving computers, network hardware and network operating systems using appropriate analyzing tools.Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of; Windows Server 2000/2003, LAN networking strategies, network architecture, equipment protocols, and capacity planning.Understanding of OSI model with special focus on Layers 5, 6, and 7.Able to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 2000/2003, Windows XP and Citrix ICA client.Must have strong interpersonal skills; oral and written, background in training.Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent experience/education required, ability to work in team environment, desire to learn and maintain broad range of hardware and software, flexibility to work alternate shifts on an as-needed basis.Certification in Microsoft products strongly preferred; must be able to meet Civil Service requirements.A driver’s license and vehicle needed for inter-school travel.
