The Herkimer Central School District is looking to hire a full-time cleaner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the school. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesPerform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.Clean and sanitize surfaces, including countertops, tables, and fixtures.Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.Restock supplies as needed (e.g., toilet paper, soap).QualificationsPrevious cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.Applicants must apply on-line through OLAS and submit letter of interest to Mrs. Kathleen Carney, Superintendent, Herkimer Central School District, 801 W German Street, Herkimer, NY 13350.
