Herkimer Central School District is seeking a District Treasurer. A degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or at least three years of experience in school fund accounting. Responsibilities include keeping an accurate record of the finances, reconciles bank statements, track revenue sources, submit SED portal financials, bond counsel and financial advisors/annual filings, track capital project expenses, school tax coordination, retiree billing, track purchases for IMA aids, capital outlay, security purchases, tax cap planning calculations and budget planning.This is a full-time, 12-month position that reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools. Administrative Certificate or Civil Service required.
