Elementary PrincipalThe Hendrick Hudson School District is seeking an exceptional school administrator for one of our three elementary schools. The successful candidate for this position is one with proven ability as a rigorous academic leader in curriculum and instruction; has prior administrative and teaching experience in a diverse setting; and is an effective communicator who builds positive relationships among students, families, and school staff. Candidates should be able to demonstrate:• Experience in providing data-driven instructional leadership at the school level in order to develop, implement, and supervise high quality elementary educational programs;• Skills in providing feedback to teachers, aligned with Danielson, that improves student achievement;• Leadership in developing and sustaining a school culture that fosters rigorous instructional expectations for all students;• Solid understanding of the needs of diverse learner and systems of prevention and intervention to support learner needs;• Experience with MTSS including demonstrated skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform critical decisions at the school level required:• Visionary leadership to address scheduling, course offerings and student experiences in alignment with the District’s Strategic Plan.* Effective collaboration and cooperation with district level leaders in curriculum, special education, technology, and business.Position available: July 17, 2023Requirements: Valid New York State administrative certification SAS/SDA or SBL required.
