With an enrollment of 700+ students, we are seeking an instructional leader invested in the fulfillment of the District’s mission and vision.The successful candidate will meet the following criteria: Demonstrates the ability to effectively provide feedback/evaluation for the improvement of instruction, aligned with the NYS Learning StandardsPossesses a comprehensive knowledge of best practices in secondary education, including differentiation Engages and works collaboratively with faculty, staff, parents, community members and other stakeholders in support of carrying out the district's missionDemonstrates a commitment to student safety and building securityWorks collaboratively with the district departments that oversee special education and second language learnersLeads the use of data and the MTSS process at the high school levelModels life-long learning through participation in seminars, conferences, professional organizations, staff development activities and institutions of higher learningHolds a valid New York State SBL or SAS certification Salary is regionally competitive.
