Highland CSD is seeking an experienced Business Administrator to oversee the business and support services of this 1,500 student Ulster County public school district. The successful candidate should have 3+ years experience in a public school business office with a track record of success. Preference will be given to NYS certified School Business Administrators (SBA, SDBL). The primary responsibility of managing the financial affairs of the district requires a solid understanding and experience with school fund accounting, NYS SED regulations and state aid process and requirements, purchasing and risk management, negotiations, budgeting for the district’s $52M budget, strong analytical skills, and excellent supervisory and communications skills. Success in the position requires a problem-solving, self-starting, team player.
