Provides administrative supervision to instructional technology specialists, Elementary STEAM, STEAM TAs, K-12 Coding, Business, and FACSResponsible for designing, scheduling, and delivering professional development opportunities for teachers and staff at varying times. Coordinates with principals, directors and assistant superintendent of curriculum & instruction.Has a deep understanding of the Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards.Works with the administrator of technology on the development and implementation of the district’s technology plan.Works with the district administration on technology purchases.Ensures that software applications meet Education Law 2D requirements and works with the administrator of technology and data privacy to verify compliance.Focus on how to use technology to assist different types of learners, including advanced students, those with learning disabilities, or English as a Second Language students.Provides support and evaluations related to assistive technology Serves as liaison to software providers to convey and/or receive information and coordinate district activities.Participates in budget planning and implementation.
