Varsity Volleyball Head Coach Season Start Date: August 21st, 2023 Season Duration: Approximately 8-10 weeks Practices: 5-6 days per week Primarily 10th - 12th grade students Requirements Successful coaching experience A passion for athletic competition and the ability to motivate and inspire athletesPersonal traits appropriate for nurturing the growth of children First Aid/CPR/AED for Coaches Certification Violence Prevention Certification CDC - “Heads Up” Concussion Certification NYSED Teaching or Coaching License NYSED Fingerprint Clearance Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):Work with the Athletic Director on practice, game schedules, and inventorySupervision of studentsOversight of the development and progress of each childCommunication with parentsCollaborative work with Athletic Department colleagues, faculty, staff, and the school communityCommitment to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive school communityAA/EEO Ethnically, culturally and linguistically diverse candidates are welcome in the Hastings-on-Hudson U.F.S.D
