The Harrison Central School District is seeking candidates who hold NYS certification in Art for a part-time position teaching art at the elementary level. This part-time position includes teaching one period of art (45 minutes) during each 6-day cycle. The candidate who serves in this part-time position will also have opportunities to accept substitute teaching assignments on the day they teach the art class for additional compensation. This is an excellent opportunity for an art teacher who is looking to gain experience teaching art in a highly supported elementary school, while maintaining a flexible part-time schedule. The candidate who serves in this role will also receive preferred consideration for more permanent art vacancies if they become available.
