The Harrison Central School District is seeking candidates who hold NYS certification in special education for a leave replacement position in a highly supported high school self-contained FASE (8:1:2) special education classroom. The students who participate in our FASE classes are working on functional life skills that will prepare them to be as independent as they can be post-secondary and participate in NYSAA. Preferred candidates will have experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities at the high school level, knowledge of and experience using ABA methods, are well-versed in behavior intervention strategies, have experience with teaching pre-vocational/vocational skills, and are highly collaborative.
