Job Description: As a building maintenance worker, the typical work activities include maintaining grounds, such as mowing, raking, shoveling snow, patching drives, performs semi-skilled electric, plumbing, carpentry and heating repairs to buildings and equipment, assists in installation of electrical equipment, repairs/replaces damaged windows, floors, doors, walls, paints, cleaning and repair of boilers, pumps/heaters and may operate a motor vehicle to run errands, and does related work as required. Minimum Qualifications: Two years of full-time paid experience, or its part-time equivalent, in general building maintenance work (or in one or more of the mechanical or construction trades). An appropriate Motor Vehicle Operator’s license issued by the State of New York Department of Motor Vehicles is required and must be maintained for the duration of the appointment.Salary Range: The salary range would be $35-$40K annually, depending on experience.
