The Haldane Central School District, located in Cold Spring, New York, is seeking to hire a Speech and Language Pathologist to work with students in the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This position requires teacher certification in the State of New York (TSHH/TSSLD); CCC SLP preferred. The program is expected to run from 07/01/2025 to 08/11/2025. The ESY special class program hours are from 9 AM to 11:30 AM (although the speech pathologist will only need to be there when working with students). The pathologist will have some flexibility to schedule individual and collaborative sessions based upon the students’ IEPs, the ESY teacher’s program schedule, and availability.The ideal candidate must have a strong skill set working with children with varying strengths and abilities and with collaborating with colleagues. The SLP should have experience working with children who are on the Autism Spectrum as well as with the implementation of AAC-Augmentative and alternative communication strategies.
