The Haldane Central School District is seeking qualified applicants for an anticipated vacancy as a Special Education Teacher, in a Special Class 12:1+2 at Haldane Elementary School, for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The ESY program is expected to run from 07/01/2025 to 08/11/2025, is half-day (approximately 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM) and involves a collaborative approach with the related service providers.The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a supportive, flexible learning environment where students with diverse learning styles and needs can thrive. Experience with children on the Autistic Spectrum, as well as with inclusion strategies and with behavioral principles, is preferred. Appropriate New York State Certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities is required.
