TEACHER AIDE_PART TIME_5 HOURS DAILYHaldane Central School District is looking for a dedicated and compassionate teacher’s aide to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a passion for working with children with diverse needs and wants to be part of a supportive team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience and/or interest in working with children with diverse needs, willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.Duties include but are not limited to: assisting the lead teacher with supervising the class, providing a warm and caring environment for the children, maintaining the classroom in cleanliness and order, and general cleaning up. This position is primarily responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for the children in the classroom.Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED required – Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required- CDA preferred but not required- CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (or more if needed) to assist with physical activities on occasion (or willing to obtain)- Ability to maintain an active medical card and current CPR & First Aid certification for at least one year after hire (or willing to obtain)Schedule: Monday to Friday
