In this unique position, you will be responsible for teaching engaging middle school courses in film, video production, and media studies, while also acting as the executive producer and technical director for our school’s live Television Studio, and live morning news broadcast. Required : Demonstrated professional experience in television production, live broadcasting, or professional video production. Extensive hands-on knowledge of TV Studio operations, control room workflows, and modern broadcast technology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to mentor and work with adolescents. Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Film/Television, Education, or a related field. NYS teaching certification in Technology Education or Visual Arts strongly preferred. Applicants holding other valid certifications with relevant technical skills and industry experience will be considered. Estimated salary: placement in accordance with GNTA CBA.
