Candidate should be experienced in teaching general music and chorus, including theory, appreciation, history, and ensemble. Strong vocal and piano skills, along with knowledge of music education philosophies such as Kodaly, Orff, and Dalcroze. Proven experience supporting musical theatre productions, preparing students for performance, designing and delivering large-scale concerts, and taking an active role in a large school community. Applicants are required to have NYS Music (All Grades) certification. Estimated salary: placement in accordance with CBA and prorated accordingly by FTE.
