This role includes overseeing library media services, supporting faculty and staff in the effective integration of educational technology into teaching and learning, collaborating with faculty and administrators, providing professional learning and support, and advancing the school’s instructional goals through the effective use of resources and technology. Responsibilities include: Overseeing the daily operations of the Library Media Center Supervising and evaluating library media and educational technology staff Supporting teachers in the integration of instructional technology Collaborating with faculty and administrators to enhance teaching and learning Promoting the effective use of library, media, and digital resources Supporting professional learning related to educational technology and information literacy Supporting student research, inquiry, and information literacy development Overseeing the selection and management of print, digital, and subscription-based resources Supporting the development and use of makerspace resources and other innovative learning opportunities Managing budget planning and resource allocation for library media and educational technology needs Helping to advance schoolwide instructional goals through innovation and collaboration Applicants are required to have NYS teaching certification (Library Media Specialist preferred) and administrative certification. Estimated salary: placement in accordance with CBA.
