The Assistant Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Educational Programs serves as a key member of the district's administrative team and plays a critical role in implementing the district's strategic vision for teaching and learning. This position reports directly to the Assistant Superintendents for Elementary and Secondary Education. The anticipated start date for this position is for March 30, 2026. This position provides leadership and oversight for all aspects of PreK-12 curriculum, instruction, and professional development, ensuring high-quality, research-based educational practices that promote student growth and achievement. The position also supports innovative district initiatives, including media literacy, AI integration, multilingual education, a multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS-I) and any additional tasks/responsibilities as determined by the Superintendent of Schools.Required Qualifications:Valid NYS School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA) certification required.Demonstrated success in instructional leadership, professional development, and curriculum implementation.Strong understanding of technology as a learning/teaching tool, data-driven instruction, new graduation requirements, differentiated instruction/learning & MTSS framework.Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Commitment to equity, innovation, and continuous improvement in PreK-12 education.Compensation/Benefits as per SAGES CBA.
