Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: North High SchoolHours: M – F, 7:30 am – 3:00 am, 7.5 hours/dayEffective: Immediately – End of School YearTen-month position, subject to annual reappointmentDuties:• Troubleshoot classroom technology issues, including SmartBoard connectivity, desktop audio, speaker systems, and phone display connections.• Maintain and support use of makerspace equipment, including 3D printers, Cricut machines, sublimation and embroidery printers, and poster printing tools.• Assist with setup and operation of audio and visual equipment for daytime auditorium events and assemblies.Qualifications:• Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot common classroom technology issues.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Collaborate as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff and students. Interest in learning and support new tools and technologies in an educational setting.Requirements: Applicant MUST be NYS Teacher or Teaching Assistant certified. Experience with sound equipment, video editing, or makerspace tools is preferred but not required.
