Job Description: Behavioral consultation with school teams and assist in programming for general education and more intensive small class settings Support staff in conducting functional behavior assessments, and developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans Staff training in working with students with Autism and other social-emotional disabilities Provide expertise to all faculty in behavior management, including assessment and planning of behavior management strategies as well as consultation and training regarding intervention strategies Participation in CSE meetings to report on student needs and progress toward goals Requirements: Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification Experience in working with NYSAA students Strong knowledge of behavior principles, including FBA/BIP, PBIS, and trauma-informed practices Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Strong ability to collaborate with various professionals and families Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail High integrity, empathetic and considerate
