The Adult Learning Center is seeking an innovative, highly organized, and technologically savvy Part-Time Guidance Counselor who is passionate about working with adult students. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in case management, student follow-up, college and career placement, registration, testing, and more.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive case management services to ensure student success.Conduct follow-up sessions with students to monitor progress and provide support.Assist students with college and career placement, offering guidance on applications, resumes, and interview preparation.Manage student registration and enrollment processes.Administer and coordinate testing and student placementDevelop and implement individualized education and career plans for students.Maintain accurate records and documentation of student interactions and progress.Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student needs and program initiatives.Utilize technology to enhance counseling services and maintain effective communication with students.Qualifications:New York State School Counseling Certification (required).Proven experience in a counseling role, preferably with adult learners.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficient in the use of technology and digital tools for educational and counseling purposes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Genuine passion for supporting adult learners and helping them achieve their goals.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
