Great Neck North High School seeks interested and qualified candidates for Girls Varsity Basketball. Start date is Nov. 17, 2025 (pre/post-season work required and compensated via Intramural stipend).Contact Mitch Braun, Bldg AD/PE Chair, mbraun@greatneck.k12.ny.usQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:· NYSED Certified Teacher or NYSED Certified Coach*· NYSED approved CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.· NYSED approved Fingerprint Clearance.· Concussion Management Certification (NFHS or CDC).· Extensive Knowledge of the sport, playing experience, High School, College, etc.· Demonstrable knowledge and ability concerning health, safety, and training techniques for sport.· Demonstrable knowledge and ability to establish high standards of student conduct in and around facilities (i.e., locker room, buses, etc.)· Demonstrable knowledge and ability to work effectively with parents, students, and staff in a manner consistent with the established philosophy and goals of the district.· Availability for practices and games as scheduled by the school and Section. And any other reasonable duties/tasks as determined by the district supervisors/administrators
