In keeping with the administrators' collective bargaining agreement, the compensation package for this probationary/tenure track position includes an expected starting salary of at least $228,914 with excellent benefits. The successful candidate will be appointed to begin service on or about July 1, 2025. Our nationally recognized pre-K through 12 public school district, located on the north shore of Nassau County, Long Island, seeks a diverse pool of candidates who lead with integrity, have proven records of collaboration, and who exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Qualifications : at least three years of successful, collaborative, and highly visible secondary-level leadership experience as a principal or assistant principal, preferably at the high school level * five years of classroom teaching service * profound understanding of adolescents from varied cultural backgrounds and their academic, extra-curricular, and affective needs * expertise in leading effective, innovative instruction and professional development across multiple content areas * adept at identifying problems, establishing accountability, effecting improvements, making difficult decisions, and assessing outcomes * NY State Administrative certification (SBL, SAS, or SDA) required.Applications and resumes are carefully reviewed and those candidates whose qualifications are commensurate with our needs will be contacted for an interview.
