Position: Part-time Library Teaching AssistantLocation: Saddle Rock Elementary SchoolHours: M – F, 8:50 am – 11:50 pm, 3 hours/dayEffective: 2024 – 2025 School YearTen-month position, subject to annual reappointmentDuties: Provide instructional support to students in individual, small group and full class settings. Ability to exercise good judgment and get along well with children. Comfortable working with special ed students. Involves physical tasks, e.g. restocking bookshelves, standing, carrying books, crouching, etc.Requirements: Applicant MUST be NYS Teacher or Teaching Assistant certified. Minimum of 60 college credits is preferred. NYSED fingerprint clearance. Must be comfortable with technology-based tasks.
