Job Description:Behavioral consultation with school teams and assist in programming for intensive needs classesSupport staff in conducting functional behavior assessments, and developing and monitoring behavior intervention plansStaff training in working with students with Autism and other social-emotional disabilitiesProvide expertise to all faculty in behavior management, including assessment and planning of behavior management strategies as well as consultation and training regarding intervention strategiesParticipation in CSE meetings to report on student needs and progress toward goalsRequirements:Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification requiredNYS School Psychologist Certification or NYS Students with Disabilities CertificationExperience in working with NYSAA studentsMust have strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong ability to collaborate with various professionals and familiesExcellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detailHigh integrity, empathetic and considerate
