Job Classification: Provisional Clerical – Nassau County resident requirement*Location: Human Resources – Great Neck Public SchoolsEffective: Immediately; M-F 8:30-4:30, 12 months Salary: Starting @ $43,980, In accordance with existing salary schedule Duties: Manage a variety of tasks related to personnel records and forms, such as: inputting data, processing forms, and scanning documents.Update and maintain the district’s personnel database system, along with other district systems.Answer questions and prepare correspondences, postings, contracts, reports, and other documents.Work closely with schools and central administration departments to resolve matters.Schedule appointments and organizes & maintains director’s calendar.Handle mail, emails, phone calls and visitors.Handles personnel information and situations in a confidential manner.Process new hires, as needed.Assist with special projects, as needed.Expertise with Microsoft and Google Office preferredRequirements:Graduation from high schoolANDTwo years satisfactory office clerical experience, including one year maintaining personnel forms and records.
