Description:

The district is seeking a candidate for a full-time probationary position as department head of special education at South Middle School.  Responsibilities include:  Observing and supervising special education staff, chairing CSE and 504 meetings and reviewing IEP’s, as well as collaborating with general education teachers and administrators.  Candidates are required to possess special education teaching certification for middle school students, or related services certification (i.e. speech/language, psychology, etc.) and administration certification.
