Responsibilities include: Supervising special education staff, chairing CSE and 504 meetings and reviewing IEPS, as well as collaborating with general education teachers and administrators. Candidates are required to possess special education teaching certification for middle school students, or related services certification (i.e. speech/language, psychology, etc.) and administration certification.
