Greenburgh Central School District is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Adaptive Physical Education Teacher to join our team. This vital role involves designing and delivering inclusive physical education programs tailored to students with disabilities, ensuring equitable access to physical activity, motor skill development, and opportunities for social interaction.The Adaptive Physical Education Teacher will collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support the physical, cognitive, and emotional development of students with diverse needs. Instruction will align with the Adapted Physical Education National Standards established by the National Consortium for Physical Education for Individuals with Disabilities (NCPEID).Additionally, this position includes training to become a Certified Trainer in Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI), enabling the teacher to support and lead crisis prevention efforts across the district.RequiredCertification pursuant to Part 80 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education: Physical Education
