Position Title:School Nurse (RN) - Summer (Extended School Year) ProgramJob DescriptionThe Germantown CSD Summer Extended School Year Program is seeking an energetic and upbeat nursing professional to work in our summer school. Fingerprinting required. All Civil Service laws, rules, and regulations apply.COMPENSATION: $3,960 Stipend (paid in three equal bi-weekly payments) WORK SCHEDULE:The expected hours of the position are: Monday-Friday (5 days per week) between July 8, 2024 and August 16, 2024 Monday from 8am - 12:00 pm. This is a 6 week commitment. SPECIFIC DUTIES:Typical work may include but is not limited to the following:Administer medications (if needed)Administer first aid and emergency treatment to students and employeesPrepare and maintain health records for school authoritiesArranges to transport sick or injured students/employees in cases of emergencyInspects buildings and grounds and reports on general safety and sanitationOrders, inventories and oversees the storage of first aid and health related supplies and equipmentRelated work as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:New York State Registered Professional Nurse license.Current CPR/AED
