1. Providing basic instruction to athletic staff members in the prevention and care of athletic injuries and conditions.2. Training and supervising student athletes for athletic contests and practices.3. Referring student athletic injuries and conditions to physicians for appropriate diagnosis and/or treatment.4. Implementing appropriate instructions and treatment as directed by District and/or family physicians.5. Developing and supervising appropriate rehabilitation programs for student athletes under the direction of a physician.6. Assisting and advising the District’s coaching staff regarding injury prevention, conditioning programs, and the selection, care, and fitting of protective equipment.(and other duties as assigned by Athletic Director)
